Kingston Mines is currently open:

• Thursday:  6:00pm – 2:00am
• Friday:  7:00pm – 4:00am
• Saturday:  7:00pm – 5:00am

Yes, the cover charge is $15.00 on Thursday and $20.00 on Friday and Saturday.  The seating is general admission (no reservations).  The two bands alternate playing on their respective stages during the night.  A current, valid photo ID is required to get into the club – please make sure you bring your ID with you.

You may buy tickets in advance HERE or pay when you arrive, it’s up to you.  If you purchase advance tickets, please bring your confirmation with you.  Buying tickets in advance does not guarantee seats – it is best to arrive early.

We offer the following discounts at the ticket window.  Discounts are not available when purchasing tickets online.  Discounts do not apply before midnight on New Year’s Eve.

• Students (21+)/Faculty:  Thursday – Free

                                                 Friday/Saturday – Discounted admission

• • Seniors (65+):  Discounted admission every day
  • US Military (current & separated)/Police/Firefighters:  Free every day with a guest
  • Birthdays:  If you come in within +/- three days of your actual birthday, your admission is free
  • Industry:  We extend courtesy to our friends in the hospitality industry with current credentials and a current, valid photo ID.

• Free admission/discounts provided on presentation of current proper identification/credentials.

•  No free admission/discounts or coupons before midnight on New Year’s Eve.

• Main Stage:  8:30pm, 10:30pm, 12:30am
• North Stage:  7:30pm, 9:30pm, 11:30pm

Friday

• Main Stage:  7:30 (acoustic set), 10:30pm, 12:30am, 2:30am 
• North Stage:  9:30pm, 11:30pm, 1:30am

Saturday

Doc’s Kitchen, our kitchen at the back of the Kingston Mines, features catfish, burgers, red beans & rice, cheesecake, beignets and more!  Our kitchen is open late so there’s always something good cooking if you’re hungry. Click here to see our full menu!

Yes, we accept the following credit cards for cover charge, food, drinks and T-Shirts, etc:  American Express, VISA, Mastercard and Discover.

You may run a tab on your credit card.  

• • We do not run tabs on debit cards, prepaid cards or preferred/valued customer cards.  
  • Our system is set up to authorize each round that is added to a tab but only the final amount is actually billed.  
    • These authorizations may appear to be additional charges on the card but they are only authorizations and will drop off the card.  
    • How quickly they will drop off is determined by the company that issued the card.
  • You may order from any server or bartender on you tab.
  • You may add food or t-shirts to your tab.
  • If you leave without closing your tab, the tab will be closed at the end of the night and a 20% gratuity will be added.
  • Credit cards left at the club will be destroyed after 30 days.

No, we do not take reservations.

We have no dress code – folks come to the club in everything from cutoffs and flip flops to full formal. We recommend you come in what’s comfortable for you. That said, there are the usual minimums: shoes and a shirt (+ pants/skirt/shorts, etc).

There is limited street parking available.  We are also accessible by public transit (#9 Halsted bus or the Fullerton stop on the Red/Brown Lines).  Some folks come by taxicab, Uber or Lyft.  We no longer have valet parking.

We currently do not have a coat check.

Yes, the Lost & Found is located in our T-Shirt booth by the front door.

No, persons under the age of 21 are not permitted in the club.

The Blues Jam is on vacation for now.

Please send a press kit to the club including samples of music, photos and published independent reviews of the band.  Please bear in mind that we are blues nightclub, so we look for blues bands.
